What Ive been doing

Well yes Im getting very slack with my blogging lately as I seem to be busy doing all sorts of things.
Garden wise ...... nothing its tragic
In a couple of weeks hopefully these will be finished and I can pull it all out and top up with mushroom compost and horse manure.
I have planted some broad beans in these boxes so hopefully they will shoot through soon, as Dad cant stop raving about last years broad beans he loves them.
Today is a beautiful day but I dont really have much time to get out and care for the garden I have to go to work boo hoo.
I bought a new dahlia as I love dahlias they are just magical. Its a slightly different color to the one I already have below. I seem to always be attracted to the color purple.

My hearty breakfast thanks to the girls there is nothing better than a gooey egg muffin.

Believe it or not Im still picking zucchinis Im running out of ideas but Im dammed if Im going to waste anything from my garden
I have just subscribed to this magazine its my new favorite
This is my reading material at work in my breaks , I can sit and relax in the quiet and refresh things in my mind. I really love reiki at the moment, I have had some moments with my son and I must say this has helped in more ways than one. He loves it, I love that he loves it and it calms him down.
I was going to settle on doing level 3 but Im thinking I might even go further now.
This has been such a busy couple of weeks, between work and keeping up with my little business selling recycled clothing, I have to make time to opp shop and photograph clothing then list them, this is my listing pile for this week.
I didnt get time at all last week as my week was full with work then a meeting all day with work which was quite interesting from a sales point of view , I havnt been to a meeting in quite some time but I made a big effort to go since they paid me overtime and all.....
I dont know what it is but chooks fluffy bums are so cute I cant resist a photo
My poor little ginger gets a bit picked on so she is out for a free range on her own.
 Girls loving their greens
 Another bottom picture
This poor girl I dont know what happened to her but I assume its the rooster having his wicked way as all her tail feathers have been plucked. She looks tragic.
The girls are off the lay so it could be molt. I wish they would hurry up and get back into it as my eggs are getting low.
So now thats about all I have been up to.
This weekend Im of to the flower show in Melbourne hopefully that inspires me to do something in my garden
Oh and here is a cute bunny picture for the day. Because my parsley is green and not looking tragic like everything else.

  1. You look as though your days are full to bursting right now. The garden looks good. I am busy getting beds ready to sow and plant and getting the glasshouses up and running. I write my blog in my afternoon tea break. All gardeners that I know run on tea and lots of it.

  3. Your bunnies should have a party day on my grass before i kill it. Its so so green.
Enjoy the show. Take lots of pics and leave the credit card at home. That place is basically one big shop. Dont let them win, Sharon. You must be strong. Also, watch that bluestone guttering. I took a big chunk out of the front scoop last year trying to get close for mum.

  4. You certainly are living a very busy life. Your magazine looks VERY interesting and REIKI sounds fascinating. Are you learning by correspondence or online course?

  5. Loved visiting (and looking a the tomatoes in your last post - oh my gosh they DO look so yummy!) Your bunny and hens are all so cute, and your photos of flowers are making me drool as we're coming to the end of a VERY long, cold, snowy winter and I am so anxious to see green in the next month - hopefully!!!! I'm glad you enjoyed my bluebird pix!
