Cheesymite scrolls

                             Cheesymite scrolls

These scrolls are  great for school lunches to make ahead and freeze and just bring them out when needed.

3 cups SR flour
pinch of salt
50 grams of butter
1 to 1/2 cups milk
1-2 tab;spoons vegemite
1 cup grated cheese
1/2 cup grated cheese extra

Pre heat oven to 220c
sift flour and salt into bowl
rub butter into flour until mixture looks like fine breadcrumbs
stir in enough milk to make a soft dough
knead lightly on lightly floured board
roll to form a rectangle
spread vegemite over the dough using a blunt knife
 sprinkle cheese over the top
roll up dough starting from longest side first
 cut 10 x 4 cm pieces from the roll
place these pieces close together on baking tray
sprinkle extra cheese on top
Bake for 15-20 minutes
