My new addiction

I've always liked succulents & cacti. I love all plants but I have a diverse range in my garden . I have one garden out the front solely of succulents . Just over the past few weeks. I have taken a lot more interest in the many different varieties & have become a little obsessed with my collection.

This is one side of the garden but I plan to fill it so you can't see the stones.

This is the other side. It's a work in progress .

My daughter said to me today " mum I have just looked through your eBay & all I can see is succulents " I feel like a naughty child .
I would love a display like this.
I'm reading Frida Kahlo's garden at the moment .
Amazing lady.
Anyway I'm off to attend to my succulents in the snow.
Oh did I mention it's snowing in beautiful Ballarat at the moment

Sunday

Just a few recent snaps. Alaska is growing everyday & this is her spot.

Quite a nice chocolate I bought from the Clunes lolly shop.

I also went to the Talbot Market and bought these beauty's as well as lilly bulbs .
Not a lot flowering in my garden at the moment . I have work to do .

My dahlias are late blooming . I bought this pretty today to plant .
This is my only dahlia bloom at the moment

I love the deep orange of this rose.

At least the succulents are plenty

I love Scentsy

Well its been a little while since my last blog. As usual I have been flat out with things. My latest little venture is Scentsy.
For those of you who dont know what Scentsy is.

The things I do !!!!!!
I joined Scentsy as I used to use it all the time and my wax was getting low. So I though , "oh why not just join".  Well now Im competely addicted.
The reason I started using Scentsy was I had a candle catch fire in a glass candle holder and the glass shattered.
So no more.
I like the fact that Scentsy melts the wax at a low heat so its safe around children and animals.
There are so many beautiful warmers and melts to choose from

There are many more than these. This is just an example . The glow warmers even double as a nightlight. Both my kids have them in their rooms.
The fragrances are divine.

They also sell diffusers. Yes I have two of those.
Isnt it pretty. They change colors. I love this in my Reiki room.

I had never tried washer whiffs before. I had given my friends samples of them and the linen smells divine for ages. I have converted quite a few people with these.
You just pop a scoop in the drum of your machine with your washing powder and it leaves the clothes smelling divine.

Another big hit are the buddies. These cuties are all limited edition and highly collectible. So once they sell out , thats it they are gone. They bring in a new buddy. My kids love them and they are in their teens. Buddies have a little pouch in them and they come with a scent pack of your choice and they keep the room smelling beautiful. My son tells me his room smells like a baby { I have newborn nursery in his buddy].

We also sell car bars and laundry liquid and counter clean. Room sprays and body cremes ect.
The company has great incentives and all the help you need to get a business of the ground.
You can earn overseas trips.
So if  anyone is thinking about just doing something a little different, Why not join Scentsy with me.

That time of year

That busy busy time of year. Finally today I have time to relax. It's been a busy few weeks preparing for Christmas . I had 12 for lunch. We all had a lovely day with all the trimmings. Way to much food. I think next year we may go out for lunch .
Lots of works going on in the backyard it's not finished yet. But there is certainly some changes .
Even a concrete slab & path in front of the shed. This used to turn to mud in the winter.
Alaska inspects everything that gets done .
In the above picture you can just see the top garden is my vege garden . The next one is for my little hobby of growing different iris & dahlias .
My next project will be revamp the chicken pen so I can get chooks again , boy do I miss them . They would of loved the food scraps at Christmas .
On Christmas Eve Tyler & I went to look at the Christmas lights. Some of the displays people had were amazing

Christmas Eve was a beautiful night just sitting on the balcony .

Indy & Alaska unaware of me taking photos .

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas
I didn't take any photos on the day I was to busy in the kitchen .
Time to recover & relax now xx
