Tumeric paste

I've heard so much about the wonderful benefits of tumeric so now it's time to give it a go.
I have aging pets & a dog with knee injuries so I will be adding this to their food . Also mine. Tumeric is a natural anti inflammatory plus there are many other benefits just type in to google & it will amaze you . Every fridge needs a jar of this

 1/2 cup tumeric

1-2 cups water
Place on low heat & simmer for 7-10 minutes. Stirring in more water from second cup if it gets a little dry.
Take of heat and stir in

1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil or unrefined coconut oil
2 teasp fresh black peppercorns
( pepper helps your body absorb the tumeric )
Alow to cool & place in glass jar
Keep refrigerated 2-3 weeks
Humans 1/4 teasp twice daily with food
Dogs & cats 1/8 to 1/4 teasp twice daily with food

Horses 1 teasp twice daily with feed
Start small , then increase amount by quarter teaspoon every week until desired result is felt or seen . Some stay on quarter teaspoon , some find a teaspoon 3 times a day is ideal amount .

Amount to use is never per weight it is per individual need.

  1. I have been taking Blooms Curcumin 600 plus capsules for just over 3 weeks and suddenly realised on the weekend that I could not remember having a hot flush for many days. None at all. I am taking it for my sore joints and think its a plus if it helps my flushes too! :)

  2. I can report that I am still having great results with the capsules. No hot night sweats and throwing off the covers. Still getting a few flushes but not like I was before.
