Wednesday bibs and bobs

Picking from today's vege garden

Zucchini's and rhubarb are plentiful , so soup is bubbling away for me to take to work tonight.

I have a vacant rabbit hutch at the moment , the cats love it.
As if to say no more bunnies.
I have a new toy, my lovely partner bought me a early birthday present, I've allways wanted to learn to play one of these. It's a mountain dulcimer.

It's quite different to my piano but I've worked out a few notes already . I wish I didn't have to work today so I could sit and play.
Learning music is very good therapy , if you already know how to play an instrument take up a new one for a challenge , get that brain working .
Some yummy bunnies

But this bunny is just the cutest munchkin don't you think.
Hope everyone is enjoying there week xx

  1. Yes, i think it is the cutest munchkin. I play piano, badly, and yes, always something id like to do better and have more lessons. Funny, i hated having them when i was a kid but now i wish id gone on a bit longer. That is an interesting instrument. Partner?

    1. Hi Lynda, I love my piano I bought it when I was 15 so it is quite treasured. I would like to play better also. A few years back I seen this instrument being played by Cyndi Lauper and had always wanted to give it a go. My partner lol yes I do have a partner we just dont live together, we work together though does that count lol. Think I have mentioned him in a couple of blogs but he is the shy and quiet type unlike mwa.

    2. Good for you. My piano is one of the family ones, there are several. Its an old upright steal frame one from Chicago early 20th century (20-30's). The ivory has been replaced and its been a few years since its been tuned but still sounds OK.

  2. Goodness, I felt for sure that you would have been posting in the last week. I was prepared to wade through until i was up to date. Ive come back home from Ballarat. It got to hot and more to come so ive retreated to the air con. Still i got to read a great book (Bittersweet by Colleen McCullough) and ive watched the first 3 series in Downton Abbey. I stayed up as late as i wanted and got up when i wanted and ate what i wanted and had no one to look after but me. We'll have to catch up another time.
