Today we decided to drive to the Grampians , we had a awesome day, I really must reccomend the Halls Gap Zoo, it has a lovely feel to it. You can get up close and personal with the animals. We all had such a wonderful day, later we went to Halls Gap for lunch then to Mckenzie Falls to recharge our batteries.
The Grampians is such a beautiful place with many lovely walks and things to do.
The staff at the Halls Gap Zoo were just lovely and so informative.
We will be definitely going back as Teneale wants to be a zoo keeper for the day.
This child always likes the pets that scare me, eeeek. I will take a photo just keep it away from me. Mind you she wants a pet one. Thats ok but when you leave home and have your own house.
Indy always wanted a snake now she wants a alligator she adored this one.
Tyler made friends with the dingoes , they gave him a nice sloppy kiss.
These deer are everywhere and put their nose in our handbags and snatched our food , they were quite funny.
Ive never seen an albino kangaroo, very pretty it was.
It was lovely we got to feed most animals. Such a personal experience as we are huge animal lovers.
Then after the zoo it was of to the falls, and what a nice big walk it was down quite a few stairs.
We sat down at the bottom for quite some time, the energy there was so peaceful and beautiful. The area is just amazing.
It was nice to see the kids really enjoy themselves.
Looks like a great family day. Awesome effort. Those falls look inviting.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, yes it was a beautiful day. x
ReplyDeleteLovely, simply lovely. I have had some brilliant zoo and park visits in WA although the day at Perth zoo was so hot we had to get out halfway round. I have had some good walks round the lakes though as there is always some shade.
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam. W.A is usually a lot hotter than here in Victoria next time you visit Australia you should come down this way for a peek.
