A day in the city

The old Macrobertson factory in Smith st Collingwood

This divine little tea room called the Hopetoun tea rooms in the Block arcade Melbourne, representing some of the central Melbournes most charming late 19th century history, The block arcade site was purchased for 18 pounds in 1891 and a small tea room was set up for the Victorian Ladies Work Association, named after its founder Lady Hopetoun.
The Hopetoun Tea rooms ,continues the proud tradition of quality combining old world charm with heritage of fine food admist the tranquil beauty of the fully restored Block arcade.
Beautiful it is with such beautiful little shops, many I didnt get photos of but really worth wandering around the arcades of Melbourne

A shop of spices and teas the aromas were divine.

Well worth catching the train and just wandering around Melbourne, jump on a tram to take you out to some other suburbs.
We had a awsome day just wandering around , nothing really planned just browsing all the little shops, sitting in the sunshine having lunch.
I didnt get a photo but there was an awsome shop called Vintage garage in Smith st Collingwood, if you love vintage, well worth a visit.
